Melissa Davis
Owner + Certified Nurse Practitioner
Melissa has been providing high quality healthcare in the tri-state area since 2000. She is a proud board member of the Plankinton Volunteer Ambulance Association, as well as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has served the Plankinton community since 2009, residing there with her husband Cordell, and children Carter, Abby, and Kenzie. Melissa is our symptom "blood hound" and is known for finding the root of the issue, big or small, to help her patients feel better, faster! She also performs endometrial biopsies, IUD insertions, and tissue/skin lesion biopsies right in clinic!
Jennalee Olsen
Owner + Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jennalee has been practicing in the medical field since 2011 and is trained in providing injections for chronic joint pain and migraines, as well as colposcopies to evaluate cervical abnormalities that could indicate potential cancers. She is our PRP Injection guru and has a passion for functional health including supplements & hormonal balance! Jennalee lives outside of Plankinton with her husband, Beau, and her 3 children, Hanley, Aurora, and Brody. She is always hungry to learn new procedures to offer to our patients and better our practice and community!
April Spinar
Owner + Registered Nurse
April is the "jack of all trades", heading up the administrative side of HFH, as well as leading the nursing team with over 10 years of experience. She has specialized training in obtaining x-rays, laboratory, and therapeutic IV infusions. She loves being able to perform a wide variety of nursing tasks and expand her knowledge/experience every day! A native to Plankinton, she and her husband, Colin, love that they get to raise their children, Makena, Pierce and Greyson, in the great community that they grew up in themselves!
Kip Littau
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Kip officially joined our Hometown crew in October 2024, after completing 2 years of clinical study under the help and direction of Melissa + Jennalee. He brings a passion for functional medicine + men's health to Hometown and loves finding the root of the problem to help his patients be healthy AND happy! Kip and his husband run a successful ranch in the Letcher area and have several award-winning cattle + goats that keep him busy when he's not trying to survive being the only male in our female filled group!
Diana Spinar
Community Health Worker + Spanish Interpreter
Diana is the team's super senora! As a certified Community Healthcare Worker (CHW), she provides education, support, and more to our community + surrounding area. Diana also has her master's degree in education + Spanish Language Arts, allowing her to assist all members of the community, no matter their language needs, as well as serves as an Advanced EMT with the Plankinton Volunteer Ambulance Association. Diana and her husband Tom have been lifetime members of the Plankinton Community. They enjoyed raising their children here, and now their grandchildren!
Farrah Mahrt
Administrative Assistant + CNA
Farrah brings several years of administrative experience and is a Certified Nurse Aide, allowing her to help patients throughout their entire visit at Hometown! Farrah is also the proud owner of Zen 7 Alternative Wellness Solutions, offering PEMF & massage therapy right here at HFH. Farrah & her husband Lonnie moved to Plankinton in 2000 to raise their 3 daughters, Morgen, Edana, & Nyomi, and are excited to share small town life with their 2 grandchildren, Ellie & Loren!
Kelsie Roberts
Administrative Assistant
Kelsie is the newest member of our Hometown Dream Team. She joins us from the Woonsocket area where she lives with partner, Levi, while attending school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse! She is excited to get hands on experience working with all of the great people in our Hometown Family while learning to be a great nurse herself!
Samantha Tart
Administrative Assistant
Samantha joins our family all the way from Michigan! She and her husband Cory moved to Plankinton to run the Grand Ciel Lodge offering guided hunts and training hunting dogs. They enjoy raising their three children, Harper, Wrigley, & Rowdy in such a small and caring community! In between clinic, lodge, and motherhood duties, Sam also makes the world's best sourdough goodies!
Stephanie DeLange
Administrative Assistant
Stephanie is Hometown's "Southern Belle" hailing from Tennesse! From her accent to her southern sass, she brings light + joy to anyone who walks in our door. She and her husband Christian live in Corsica with their son, Beau, and two pooches, Doc + Dolly!
Stephanie Syhre
Registered Nurse
Stephanie joins our family with 3 years of ICU experience and a passion to provide high quality care to those who need it most! Stephanie is another Plankinton native and is so excited to be back in the Hometown that she loves with her husband Gabe and their daughter, Melody. She is excited to give back to the community and help guide the next generation of future track stars!
Wendy Barse
Licensed Practical Nurse
Wendy joins our nursing staff with an amazing mixed background including a degree in education, previous service with the Army and Air National Guard, and most recently her degree as a licensed practical nurse! She was born and raised in Corsica, SD and moved back to the area with her husband, Farlin, to watch their two children, Jaden and Raven grow and thrive in a smaller community. She is always striving to learn, grow, and do what she can to be at the service of others!
